Midnight Beverage Biography

Midnight Beverage is a five-piece indie-rock band based out in Houston, Texas. Formed in the sweltering summer of 2023, the group underwent many changes and overcame plenty of obstacles before becoming one of the most talked-about acts in the competitive Houston indie scene.

Consisting of Aiden Perez (vocals), Dakota Stilwell (guitar), JD Schulze (guitar), Gerardo Barrera (bass), and Dennis Townsend (drums), MB is at their best when feeding off the energy of the crowd and the heart of the art. Inspired by earlier pioneers of the genre (The Strokes) and more modern artists (Cage The Elephant), they take those tried-and-true cornerstones and put their own spin on it. With catchy guitar riffs, pounding rhythms, and raw, emotive vocals, Midnight Beverage crafts a refreshing take on a classic sound.

Playing notable venues across Houston, such as Warehouse Live and White Oak Music Hall, MB thrives in the live setting, especially their capricious frontman Aiden, who makes it a point to always have fun and to spread his excitement throughout the room. The band is no stranger to improvisation either, with members often swapping entire instruments with each other when called upon. Be it jumping off the stage to start mosh pits or even slowing things down to capture a moment, Midnight Beverage makes it a point to be a band of versatility.

With the three singles currently released, MB have shown they know how to have fun in earnest, but with newer material on the horizon, the group is prepared to show the more angsty, heavier side to their sound.
