The song opens like a chilled Sunday morning, with a relaxed electronic instrumental that sets a smooth tone which Misty Drinx thrives in throughout the duration of the song.
Misty’s vocals complement the instrumental perfectly, giving off a sense of strong genre knowledge and a style similar to that of Tom Misch or Masego. The chorus is in the style of an 80’s pop hit, in the same way as “In Your Eyes” by The Weeknd, a popular trend in pop music that seems to be here to stay.
The chorus itself is great and incredibly catchy and adds a much-needed second tone to the very monotone instrumental that I think would’ve otherwise gotten stale if Misty hadn’t incorporated another musical style to compliment it.

All things considered, the track is also very well produced, Misty sprinkles small yet clever tricks throughout the song that make the song feel more professional and rich in sound. Things like, the subtle bell chimes in the song, the groovy bass guitar plucks in the chorus, and the echoey vocal effect on his vocals during his verses and the bridge.
Score/Excellent: Misty feels like someone who knows what makes his style of music tick and how it should be performed. “You’re So Cool” is a great chilled morning song that is designed for the listener to simply sit down and vibe.
